About the Site:
Welcome to MKKomplete (formerly MKKSG), one of the longest-running independent Mortal Kombat strategy resources on the internet.
Launched on February 15, 2002, the site began as a small hobby project called the Unofficial Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance Strategy Guide. As the Mortal Kombat franchise continued to grow, so did the website. It evolved into Mortal Kombat: Komplete Strategy
Guide before eventually adopting the streamlined MKKomplete name. Built during the golden age of personal websites and originally hosted on Angelfire, the site survived storage limits, FTP uploads, and the many challenges of early web development through
a genuine passion for the fighting game community.
For over two decades, the mission has remained the same: to provide clean, accurate, and perfectly formatted printable move lists. Long before smartphones, mobile apps, and in-game training modes became commonplace, players relied on printed move lists
or a second screen to master fatalities, combos, and secret techniques. MKKomplete was created to be that reliable reference, emphasizing verified inputs, consistent formatting, and easy-to-read layouts without the clutter found on many early gaming websites.
Over the years, the site has expanded well beyond its original focus on Deadly Alliance. Today, it documents nearly the entire Mortal Kombat franchise - from arcade classics and handheld releases like the Sega Game Gear to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360
eras, all the way through modern titles such as Mortal Kombat 11. Alongside the series, MKKomplete also preserves information for other fighting games, including titles like ClayFighter, War Gods, and fan projects such as Terrordrome, helping preserve
a unique corner of fighting game history.
Meet the Webmaster: icemantraveler:
Hi! I'm icemantraveler (Trav), the creator and webmaster behind MKKomplete.
I started this website when I was 17 years old because I couldn't find accurate, well-organized move lists for Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. What began as a personal reference quickly evolved into a long-term preservation project dedicated to documenting
one of my favorite gaming franchises.
As both a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan and a perfectionist, I've spent countless hours verifying move inputs, fatalities, secret codes, and character information to ensure everything presented here is as accurate as possible. Beyond the strategy guides themselves,
I've also created and restored countless graphics for the site - including high-quality character portraits, classic palette-swapped ninjas, boss artwork, logos, and other assets that have been shared throughout the Mortal Kombat community over the years.
Although the internet has changed dramatically since the early 2000s, I'm proud to continue maintaining MKKomplete with the same philosophy it was founded on: preserving the history of Mortal Kombat while providing players with reliable, easy-to-use strategy
resources. Whether you're revisiting the arcade originals, dusting off a PlayStation 2 classic, or exploring the newest entries in the series, I hope this site helps you enjoy these games as much as I have.
Thank you for visiting, supporting one of the web's longest-running Mortal Kombat archives, and helping keep the old-school gaming and webmaster spirit alive.
