If you are facing left, you must reverse the directional commands.
Backwards becoming Forwards and Vice Versa.
It's recommended that your controls match the default setting.

Fatality Distances Explained:
In Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition, there are no specific Fatality distance requirements.
After defeating your opponent in two rounds, and when the announcer says "Finish Him/Her," you can input the Fatality at any range.
