Fatality Distances Explained:
Close: Right next to your opponent.
Sweep: A couple of steps away (close enough to land a sweep).
Anywhere: Distance doesn't matter, can be any range (outside sweep or further works best).
Note: You can hold BL to input fatalities, as long as BL is released before the last button in the Fatality sequence is pressed.
In Sonya's case, where BL is the last button in the Fatality sequence, you would have to (Hold BL), F, F, B, B, (Release BL), and then press BL again to activate the Fatality.

Fight Reptile:
Start a 1 player game and fight against the CPU. In the Pit Stage, don't ever use the block button. Get a double flawless victory against the CPU and do your finishing move on the CPU. You can use block in the fatality. After this is completed, you will
fight Reptile in the bottom of the pit.
Play as Reptile (SNES Version):

Kode '656A-47AF' combines multiple effects.
1 Player Mode:
Start as any fighter. After your first match, every following match will be against Reptile until the Game Genie is turned off. Turning it off restores normal gameplay; turning it back on brings Reptile back after each victory.
If you lose to Reptile and continue, you'll continue as Scorpion. If you lose and do not continue, the game enters a computer-controlled Reptile vs. Reptile match (one labeled as Scorpion). Let the match finish and don't continue to return to the title
screen.
2 Player Mode:
Player 2 can partially play as Reptile. Start a 2-player game and choose Scorpion or Sub-Zero for Player 2. Defeat Player 1 and don't continue. The next match will be against Reptile. When Player 1 joins, they automatically become Scorpion.
Player 2's character will appear in Reptile's green colors and be labeled "Reptile," but retains only the special moves of the selected fighter. Choosing another character results in a strange green palette swap.
